This house is in Kanal, a picturesque little town with a Venetian feel situated in the stunning Soca Valley. This house is unique in many ways. It was built as part of the original town wall that surrounded the town over 100 years ago. The rear of the house incorporates one of only two remaining turrets that made up the original six.
The house has been completely renovated and refurbished using the highest quality of materials and has accommodation for 8 people. The house is ideally situated, giving easy access to the whole of Slovenia.
From the house you can venture to the lakes and mountains of Bled, Bohinj and Triglav National Park, visit the underground cave systems of Postonja, partake in one of the many adventure activities that are run on the river Soca or visit the stunning wine growing region of Goriska Brda. Nearest ski resort is Cerkno.
The house is one and a half hours drive from Ljubljana the Capital of Slovenia, and just a couple of hours from Venice. Kanal is just 50 minutes by car from Trieste airport in Italy (a Ryanair destination.)

This traditional Slovenian farmhouse is set off a quiet country road with spectacular views of the Julian Alps, moments away from Tolmin, in the beautiful Soca Valley.
The house has a large garden to the front. To the rear is a covered terrace area with BBQ facilities and patio table and chairs to seat eight. Behind the house is a forest with numerous trails for walking.
The house is arranged over three levels: The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining space; the second floor has a large double bedroom and bathroom with bathtub/shower and washing machine; the third floor has a large double bedroom with exposed stone work, single bedroom and a bathroom. Along with the three main bedrooms that can sleep five there is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep two. By special arrangement a further sofa bed could be used in one of the double bedrooms (Sleeps 7 to 9 people).
There is parking adjacent to the property for two cars .There are numerous grocery stores and restaurants etc in the vicinity (5 minutes by car).
The Soca Valley is known for its adventure fun: Paragliding, Kayaking, Rafting, and Hiking. Postonja and Skojan Caves, Lipizaner Horse Farm, Wine tasting in Goriza Brdo and Vipava. You can enjoy all kinds of sport activities in the Soca Valley: fishing, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, hiking, parachuting, rafting. Nearest ski resort is Cerkno.

Rose Cottage is a 4 bedroom house with spacious living accommodation for up to eight people , on 3 floors. Rose Cottage has a garden and balcony with beautiful views over the mountains. It is close to the centre of the village, for restaurants, bars, activity centres, shops and public transport. We have furnished the house with families and groups in mind.

The Apartments are centrally located in Bovec, less than 200 meters from the tourist information centre in the Main Square. There is a good selection of Café’s, Bars and Restaurants all within 5 minutes walk.
Each apartment comprises of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with twin beds. There is a double sofa bed in each of the living rooms and a large balcony with table and chairs that looks out towards stunning scenery in the National Park. Location Gallery.
