Nearby is the local attraction of an underground cave and mine, along with the beautiful mountains and the river Soca making a stay in this area an unforgettable experience.

The river Idrijca is only 9 km from our house. The local waters are renowned for their sky blue glacial colours. Anglers can find water that suits their fly-fishing abilities. Test your river craft skills on the Soca, Tolminka or Idrijca.

The Chalet has three floors with a very well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and large sitting room with dining room, complete with a large “brick built” fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms, and the property will sleep a maximum of eight people.

This charming property offers beautiful views onto the garden with an outdoor eating and barbeque area. There are also swings and a private basketball court for children.

This house is in Kanal, a picturesque little town with a Venetian feel situated in the stunning Soca Valley. This house is unique in many ways. It was built as part of the original town wall that surrounded the town over 100 years ago. The rear of the house incorporates one of only two remaining turrets that made up the original six.

The house has been completely renovated and refurbished using the highest quality of materials and has accommodation for 8 people. The house is ideally situated, giving easy access to the whole of Slovenia.

From the house you can venture to the lakes and mountains of Bled, Bohinj and Triglav National Park, visit the underground cave systems of Postonja, partake in one of the many adventure activities that are run on the river Soca or visit the stunning wine growing region of Goriska Brda.

The house is one and a half hours drive from Ljubljana the Capital of Slovenia, and just a couple of hours from Venice. Kanal is just 50 minutes by car from Trieste airport in Italy (a Ryanair destination.)
