General conditions of hire of the holiday cottage.
TRADING TERMS
Please read this page carefully. When you book your holiday through sloveniaholidaycottages.com you are entering into a contract to rent / hire your holiday accommodation direct from the property / cottage owner/s (referred to as the owner from here on in) which will bind you, the owner and us in various ways. sloveniaholidaycottages.com is the booking agent for and on behalf of the owner.
TERMS AND PRICES
You may commence occupation of your holiday-home between 4pm and 7pm (subject to unavoidable delays), on the Saturday afternoon at the start of your hire period. You must vacate by 11.00am on the Saturday morning of your departure, or at any other times as agreed between yourself and sloveniaholidaycottages.com at the time of booking.
You are expected to leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. Failure to comply with this vacation procedure will result in an extra charge being made.
The prices shown are cash prices. There is no additional charge for credit or debit cards.
MAKING A BOOKING
You make a booking by authorising PayPal or credit card/debit card payment of your deposit, part or full payment online, or by other payment methods. When you do so, you accept on behalf of all your party the terms of these booking conditions. A binding contract between us will come into existence when we issue a hire invoice and booking acceptance. For bookings within 8 weeks of the hire date you must pay the full hire charge and all other costs at the time of booking.
We regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracy on the hire invoice within 10 days of its receipt.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE
The amount payable will be shown on your hire invoice. It must be paid at least 8 weeks before your hire date. If you fail to pay in time we reserve the right to treat your hire as cancelled by you. Retain your deposit, and you will remain liable for the balance.
You may be asked to pay a security deposit; the amount will be shown on your hire invoice. You are responsible and liable for any damage done to, or loss sustained by yourself, your guests or any member of your party to the holiday home during your stay, and this mat incur liability costs in addition to the forfeit of the full value of your security deposit.
CANCELLATIONS
Contact us immediately if you have to cancel. If you cancel 56 days or more before the start date of your hire period, you will only forfeit your deposit. If you cancel less than 56 days before the start of your hire period, you will have to pay the balance of your hire costs as well. However, if we are able to re-let, we will refund the whole or part of the balance you have paid up to a maximum amount of the hire charges we receive on re-letting.
CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY COTTAGE
Occasionally, we may have to make changes to and correct errors in descriptions and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed. Whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes, we must reserve the right to do so if necessary.
If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
We reserve the right to refuse to hand-over a holiday-home to any person who, in our reasonable opinion is not suitable to take charge. In such cases all hire charges may be refunded in full, subject to our discretion, but neither we nor the owner of the holiday-home will have any further liability.
MINORS
Bookings from persons under the age of 18 years cannot be accepted.
COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
If you have a complaint whilst you are hiring your holiday-home whilst you are on holiday, please inform us immediately so that remedial action, where possible can be taken.
If your complaint cannot be resolved and you remain dissatisfied and wish to make a claim against us then you must follow this up within 28 days of your return home.
AVAILABILTY OF HOLIDAY COTTAGES
All holiday cottages published are subject to availability. We reserve the right to change the details of or withdraw any holiday-home prior to a contract coming into existence between us.
THE CONTRACT
Is made on the terms of these booking conditions and is governed by English Law. We both agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your holiday-home arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we may need to use the information you provide such as name, address, any special needs etc.
